February 16, 2015- I Feel LIke Ammon

A Mission-Wide Sisters Conference

On Monday we traveled up to Virginia with a bunch of other North Carolina sisters. We rode in the transfer van! It was a long trip. It was so weird to be returning to my first area so soon after leaving! We even met at the chapel where I spent a lot of time for the past 6 months. I got to show Sister Kunzler a lot of things that I tell her about all the time in Virginia Beach. =)

Tuesday was SO - o - o fun. We drove to Portsmouth in the rain to have a conference with all the sisters in the mission! I got to see a lot of sisters I know and love so much! =D We had a clothing exchange - everyone brought what they didn't need and we chose what we wanted! At the end we had 8 bags of clothes to donate!!!

The conference was wonderous! I received a lot of revelation, and got to ponder various things as I was taught by the Spirit. We had amazing trainings given by Sister Training Leaders throughout the mission. We had a wonderful one on joy and sorrow. When we try to love as the Saviour does, we will feel sadness for others! And that's okay!!! It's okay to feel sad! The Atonement provides strengthening power to overcome it.
We had a testimony meeting at the very end, and I got to bear my testimony on how I know that we are the Lord's servants, and we are instruments in His hands. What we do every day is Him reaching out to individuals, His children, in ways we don't comprehend fully now. I love this work. I love my Savior!

We then said goodbye to everyone and loaded up our stuff in the transfer van once more. We had an adventure on the way back - one of the trailer's tires blew out and no one believed me that a thud thud noise had began a few miles back... I was right. >.< =P But we made it back okay!

PEOPLE ARE PREPARED
Thursday was a powerful, wonderful day. We did weekly planning. It took a lot of work and effort, but I know it will help the work so much!

Then we went to our appointment in Warsaw with some recent converts. They are active members, but still seem confused about some of the doctrine. Early on in the lesson, one of the sisters brought up something that keeps her from feeling peace. She was so distraught. She brought up the disquiet her Spirit is feeling and we were so terrified of saying the wrong thing. The Holy Ghost really took over for us. We boldly and lovingly extended promises, taught doctrine, about God's Plan, and His timing. We were able to teach a doctrine that she had never heard of before, in a way that can help her find peace. The lesson was so intense. We all teared up. We left that lesson so grateful that the Lord gives us the words to say when we open our mouths.

We left just in time to get to our next appointment, a potential. We waited outside her house because we thought the appointment was at 5 (it was at 5:30). While we waited, one of her neighbors came outside. We decided to go talk to her. We asked her if she'd ever heard of our church before. She had a lot of erroneous beliefs about our faith, which we tried to dispel as kindly as possible. We invited her to come join the lesson with our potential. It ended up turning out that our potential had the flu. =( We'll catch her next time!

On Friday, we had an amazing district meeting. We learned and practiced lots of good things, including introducing the Book of Mormon using the pictures.

We went out to our appointment with another potential, unsure of if she was going to be home. While we were parked, we heard someone shouting at us(?) from one of the houses. We decided to go over and talk to them, since our potential's car wasn't there. We knocked, and talked on the doorstep, then all of the sudden she was inviting us in! Her name is Kristen, and recently she's been trying to change her life and come to God. She's reading the Bible from cover to cover, like me! She's trying to find her "path" after a difficult life. We taught her the Restoration! We invited her to be baptized and she said YES.

We are SO EXCITED. Everything we did at District Meeting prepared us for our lesson! She said "I want to come to your church," after we shared the First Vision. All she could say was "Wow!" We asked her what she was feeling, if she felt it could be true, and she said "Good. I've never felt like this before. Yes!" We pointed out that she was feeling the Holy Ghost!

After we left that lesson, we cried tears of joy. We pulled over to pray and thank Heavenly Father that we were able to be there!

On Saturday, we had a busy morning. We then went out to see potentials. As we drove away from a less-active appointment that fell through, we felt like stopping to talk to someone. On the way in, we saw a group of people in a small private cemetery. We pulled over and approached them, and saw that they were raking up leaves, so we offered to help. "Nah, we're done," they said. And somehow we ended up talking. Alexis told us about her trials and joys and questions. "Let me ask you this," she said once, "since you seem to know the answers to all my other questions." It was amazing! We prayed with her. At points she was crying. After we prayed, the Spirit was so strong - and we pointed it out. She agreed! She said she felt it strongly. She prepares herself every morning for the day by reading her scriptures. She has a super cute 3-year-old daughter. =) She wanted to come to church!

She told us about her worries and fears. I did not feel hesitant at all as I promised her that, "there is peace, healing, comfort, and strength to be found in the gospel." I know that is true, and that her fears and pains can be eased. That she can be healed by and through the Atonement of Christ. We said, "Can we hug you?" "yes!" she said, "I didn't want to be creepy!"

"I'm so glad you came and talked to me."

After we got in the car, I exclaimed to Sister Kunzler, "I feel like Ammon! I feel like this is what missionary work is! I feel like maybe he felt this way as he taught the Lamanites!" The field is all white, and ready to harvest! Heavenly Father will take us to who we need to meet.

None of them were able to attend church. =( But that's okay. It was stake conference, so that would have been really confusing anyway. I wish they would have come, but I know that it is all in God's timing! I am really excited for this coming week. I know this work is true, I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that the scriptures bring us closer to God. I love Him and I love this work! I hope all of you will be able to feel His love this week in your lives. Because He loves you. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

February 9, 2015- Hip Happenings in the Mount of Olives

This week Sister Kunzler has had a really terrible cold, so we have spent most of the week inside.

We were able to do things on Monday and Tuesday. We met with less-actives and had some really good experiences. We dropped by the Benetes' house. They have lots of little kittens! =D

We also got to meet this sweet little family. She is a middle-school teacher and has a ten-year-old daughter. We don't know why they don't attend church, because the mom has such a strong testimony! During the message we shared with them, I felt prompted to ask "do you believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the church Jesus Christ set up while He was on the earth?"
"Yes," she said. "Or I wouldn't have joined!"
During that lesson, I was very tired and Sister Kunzler was too. The Holy Ghost told us all things we needed to say. We knew exactly what we needed to say next. =) It was a wonderful lesson.

On Friday, we went to Zone meeting in Goldsboro. Our zone is HUGE! There are maybe 30-40 people in it. The Goldsboro stake center is GORGEOUS. There is so much wood and beautiful windows and rock. I just had to wander around!

I got a sweet note from Grandma on Saturday. =D I just love her so much! She bore her testimony to me of the church. I immediately wanted to share it! It made me think of how important collecting and sharing family stories, memories, and testimonies is!

On Sunday, Sister Kunzler and I made pizza! =D It was so fun! Heavenly Father kindly sent some sweet "Valentines" treats our way at church. A sweet member gave us a bunch of muffin mix!

Sister Kunzler and Sister Moore's Pizza Recipe

1 wheat tortilla
mozzarella cheese
spinach
Italian spices
oil
tomato sauce
cilantro
chicken bits

Slather Italian spices and oil on tortilla. Put on your toppings. Pop in the oven on broil for a few minutes. Enjoy!

They were DELICIOUS!!! I am so grateful for my wonderful, sweet, amazing-chef, FANTASTIC companion! She was feeling so so sick and she still had enough energy to celebrate with me. =D

Then I regaled her with my roller coaster story , so that was really fun. =D

I love you all and I hope you have a wonderful week! =D Remember! Miracles happen!

Love, Sister Moore

February 2, 2015- We Travel to Poland

President has issued a challenge to not use the word "awesome" this week, so that we can have more dignified language. If ya'll know me, which you do, this will be the hardest week of my mission!

BUT I AM UP TO THE CHALLENGE.

"Let's do this thing!"

I learned a lot a lot about myself this week, and about the gospel. I love love love what I am learning here. I learned that sometimes listening and trusting the Spirit is learning to trust yourself. That was a powerful message to me and I've been thinking about it all week.

We had exchanges on Tuesday with the Goldsboro sisters. Our focus for the exchange was learning to listen to the Spirit. We had lots of opportunities to do so, too! We had an appointment fall through first thing, after arranging a member to go and everything. So we hurriedly jumped to back up plans. The member just barely turned 16, so this was her first time going on exchanges with the missionaries. We were determined to make it a good experience.

We went by a few less-actives. The first door opened and he was in the middle of cooking. "I'd shake your hand but..." "Oooh, there's a knife," Sister J said. He was still holding his kitchen knife. XD That was the quote of the day.

Then we went tracting. It was - um.... It was a really great experience! Each door was different. Some didn't answer. Some were really not interested. And the last one - BOOM.

Her name is Lou and she's from the Phillipines. "You have lots of ministers there," she said. Sister J jumped right into the Restoration and I was right there, backing her up and testifying. It was - amazing to me. I have never been that bold in my life! She agreed that we could come back! Wow!

Sister J had a crazy idea Tuesday night. "Let's hold a church tour," she said. "Tomorrow."
"For who?" I asked. "I don't know! We'll find them tomorrow!" she replied.

So Wednesday, right before we exchanged back, we were cruzing along listening to the most epic music we had available (also known as "The Master's Hand") and looking for the "elect church tour person". We opened with a prayer, and then started driving, trying to feel where we needed to go.

"Let's go there!" I said.
"Okay!" said Sister J.

We had to make a U-turn, and as soon as we pulled back into the road, the music changed key and grew to a climax. "Wow, that was perfectly timed," Sister J said. I knew it was no coincidence.

We pull into this very affluent looking neighborhood, driving around and trying to feel where to go. We felt that we should especially go to this one house. Brown brick, beautiful white multi-paned and rounded windows. "There!"

We go up, knock, our hearts pounding. This is where we need to be!

But no one answered. =(

We left a note, inviting them to come tour the building. We both felt good about that house.
In the end, we didn't manage to find anyone before we exchanged back. But I have faith that they found someone! I can't wait to ask them about it today at the Sister's P-day.

On Thursday we did some Family History training with Sister Walker, a sweet sister who has served three missions with her husband! I love family history!

Friday and Saturday, we worked really hard. Goodness! We spent 4+ hours straight each day, tracting and finding and visiting and talking, keeping our "line in the water" the whole time we were out. We had lots of miracles. We had lots of chances to see what we could improve on. I believe each "not so great" door gives you the courage and motivation for one particular person later! I know that's true. At the end of the night Friday, we contacted a potential who wants us to come back. His name is Michael, and his wife is named Charlotte. They are looking for good youth programs. They have a light about them. We are SO EXCITED.

On Saturday, the first person we contacted said "yes, I want to learn more about what you believe. Come back [this day]."

WHAT?

That was completely unexpected. We had no idea how to react. So we floundered a little bit. Heehee.

So Saturday was the last day of the month, and we had miles. So we said "Let's go on an adventure!" and we went to Warsaw, NC!!! It is so crazy-far out there and eats up miles to even visit. We went out there for the day, and worked our way back, contacting people, talking, tracting. We met some super cute little boys (one with super-cute little dreds :) ) who warned us about what houses had mean people in them! Haha we went anyway. =) But that was nice of them! We visited some less-actives.

And we ran into PAM. (who we just saw in the library right now....whhhhhhhhhhaaat?)

Before I got here, Pam was a former investigator. One day she came up to our front door and said, "come back and teach me some time."
Then, on exchanges, Sister Kunzler ran into her again, somewhere random.
THEN on our Warsaw trip, we randomly found her real house, where she was washing her car, across the street from someone we were coming to visit. She set up a return appointment.
THEN! WE SAW HER THIS MORNING. She works at the library.
Seriously?!
I think Pam is pretty prepared or something, because she is being put in our path. I totally accidentally hit the potential investigator in the GPS. And we were like "oh well, we'll go then."
And she was there! Washing her car! What?????

So I am really excited. Miracles!

Church was great yesterday! This ward has really strong testimonies!

Basically,  "everything is [word retracted]"  here in Mount Olive! I love it! I'm warming up to the ward (meeting more people). Sister McPhail is such a gem! She loves the people here and is willing to tell us what's what! I love her! Sister Vickie Wiggins is amazing. She's a great Relief Society president. I just love it here. There is so much to be done, so much to be learned, and so many miracles to discern! =D

I will leave you all with something I studied today!

I read about Abinadi today, in Mosiah 12-17. Wow. In the past, I have read just one chapter a day, or one chapter at a time, but today I just had to keep going. I couldn't stop!

Abinadi powerfully testified of Jesus Christ. All prophets, since the world began, teach, prophesy, and write about Him, so that we may know how we may obtain a remission of our sins.

I love Abinadi's testimony! I love this story. It ends so sadly - but because of Abinadi and Alma, we have these words. We have these words of Isaiah expounded so simply.

Jesus Christ is the reason for our hope! I love the conference talk from this past conference called "The Reason for our Hope" by President Packer. Go check it out! =D

I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that He loves you. I know that this is His work.

I love this work! I love all of you!
I hope you have an amazing week!
Love, Sister Moore

January 26, 205- What a Rough Week!

This week was really hard - not really sure why. Sister Kunzler and I were a little puzzled by it. But I know this means miracles!

I learned some things about trust this week. That trust is a form of faith. Sister Kunzler and I gave talks yesterday in Sacrament meeting, and that's what I chose to talk about. We trust in Heavenly Father that He hears our prayers, and that He will answer them. I love my Father in Heaven. =)

So, fun experiences. =) We were driving somewhere on Tuesday with our windows down because it's warm and beautiful here. Yay! I saw two little old ladies working in a yard so I waved. One of them waved us down. Turns out she was a former! Her name is Nadine. She told us about how she was borrowing pine straw from her neighbor to keep her bulbs from blooming early. "You ever heard of borrowing pine straw?" she asked us. We shook our heads. "Neither have I!" she laughed.

We got to teach Hayden again this week. He's a sweet kid! We talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Sister Kunzler made and drew an entire game to illustrate it. Wow! She is so talented.

We also got to teach the Woods on Monday! Man am I going to have a time of it trying to remember all their names. They are a SUPER AMAZING recent convert family. There's... Aidan, Valencia, Chavelle, Ireland, and Weyland. Phew! =D They are the CUTEST kids. They love love love to read the scriptures. Chavelle whipped out her Book of Mormon so fast. They they all sat down on the floor, scriptures open, eagerly waiting to read. We taught the 10 commandments using the hand symbols. We had a lot of fun. I love them!

We worked SUPER hard on Wednesday. We were out from dawn till dusk, it felt like. We ran around teaching members, trying to find potentials, serving people, and visiting less-actives. I can't believe how many people we saw! We had some yummy yummy Southern food and a powerful lesson at dinner. We've been sharing our testimonies of the Book of Mormon with the active members we teach, and then inviting them to read it this year. It's been a powerful experience! I love it! Sister Kunzler and I have really enjoyed hearing the member's testimonies of it. We've talked to some less active members about it, and returning less actives, and they have such strong testimonies. They tell us about their favorite passages and blessings and miracles that have happened in their lives because they have read it in the past. It's truly miracluous to see the Spirit at work, testifying of the truth.

I love truth! This is the truth!

We made some mistakes this past week, we've had lots of awkward moments - but we have also been protected, and we have witnessed miracles. A sister in our ward is helping her boyfriend come into the gospel. The members are starting to open up to us. We have the energy to do the work that is required of us.

I am so grateful to be serving here in Mount Olive! I am excited for this coming week.

This morning I studied "Are we not all beggars" from the most recent general conference. I also got to read in Mosiah 4, King Benjamin's speech. We are all hoping for mercy - for Heavenly Father to answer our prayers. So we must do our best to help answer the prayers of others.

I love you all!

January 20, 2015- Mount Olive Miracles!

This week has been crazy! Wow.

Sister Kunzler and I have been working, praying, tracting, laughing, and crying this week. It's been intense! We found two new investigators and have taught a ton of lessons. I've met a lot of people and have started to get to know the ward, and Mount Olive, a little better.

There was a lot of rain and it was really warm this week. Sometimes the roads freeze over when it's just cold enough so we were careful.

On Wednesday we went to Nancy's work and got to know her a little better. We had a lesson and talked about her concerns and desires. It was totally not what we planned, but we felt like it was what the Spirit wanted us to say. She wants to learn more, and we set up an appointment, so she's a new investigator! We also went and saw her and her husband Sunday night. We got to get to know him and where he's coming from. He said that he really wants to find a church, but doesn't know which one to go to. Nancy asked us, partway through, if we'd eaten yet. We hadn't, so she and her father in law made a full-on meal for us! Whoa!

Wednesday was also interviews in Goldsboro. I love interviews! It was great getting to see President and Sister Baker. I love them. We jumped in the car with the Elders to go home, and their car wouldn't start! So we waited while they found some jumper cables and jumped the car. That was funny.

Thursday was really good - we had this cat run up to us and we wanted to find his home. So we tracted around our neighborhood, but no one knew who he belonged to (or wanted to hear the gospel). We eventually just dropped him off somewhere nearby and hoped he'd find his way back to his house. He's just a tiny orange kitten! The other day he was near our house again and came to say hi. Sister Kunzler was calling to him to get him to come over. "Fluffy!" no response. "Tiger!" no response. "George!" It turns around and comes to us. "George!" she says, laughing incredulously.

So now we have a cat named George that lives in our neighborhood who we get to pet sometimes and is really cute and purrs when you pick him up. Yeah.

Friday we went out to a teeny tiny town twenty miles away from Mount Olive. A member, thankfully, gave us a ride. No one was around, but we did get to drive on muddy dirt roads in a car, and through a pig farm!

So then, one day we were tracting and we ran into this guy named Aaron. He was like "Do you know Sister Heath?" and we're like, "yeah." And he said that she'd just barely been talking to him about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. We were like, "uh, we're going out with her tonight - could we stop by?" What a miracle! At the time we set up the exchange with Sister Heath, we had no one to see. We came up with a few people, but didn't have an appointment. Then we ran into Aaron that day! The lesson went all right. There was a lot going on that was really distracting, but we got to answer more of his questions and invite him and his roommate to church. =)

We ran into a lot of amazing people while tracting - four people said we could come back. One lady was like "I'm sick, and don't want to get you sick. Could you come back in a few days?" Um, yeah we can! She has five kids. I am so excited to teach them!! =) Pray that we can!

We went over to a less-active's house on Saturday, and while we were walking up to her apartment, we saw this old man downstairs smoking. We went and talked to him. He was a little scary-looking. He had lots of rings, piercings, and Batman PJ bottoms. We talked for a little while. Turns out, he's a Vietnam vet and has overcome a lot of addictions in his life. He's currently in school right now to be able to help his fellow veterans with the same problems. He's read 10 different Bibles and really loves to read. So obviously we gave him a Book of Mormon! He was really well-spoken.
It was so cool that he was literally put in our path! At first, he l0oked scary, but as we talked to him, he didn't anymore. I'm glad we chose to talk with him!

On Sunday we had ward conference. It was really good. Because it's the South and it was Ward Conference, we had a big lunch after church. It was SO fun. I ate so much. Heehee. I love butterbeans! Yum!

Well - it's been a week full of miracles! Too many to even count! Yesterday, we ran into this super-prepared woman outside of Walmart. I can't wait to start teaching her, too! =D I love you all so much, and I want to thank you for all your prayers. I sure need 'em and I 'preciate them! I love you!

I know that this church is true and that this is Jesus Christ's kingdom here on earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is a book of scripture that can bring all of us closer to Christ. I encourage you to read it! =)

I love you!

January 12, 2015- Ola Everybody!

I'm in Mount Olive, the pickle capital of the United States!! It sure is different from Virginia Beach! Let's just say that Mount Olive is smaller than Madera, California. Whoa!

Wednesday was CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! I drove Sister Petrie and I on up to Portsmouth, and I was a little bit stressed. Okay, so a lot stressed. ;) But I actually got us up there safely and we enjoyed a really wonderful transfer meeting. There are lots of new missionaries - we have so many new Hermanas (Spanish Sisters) that there aren't enough Sisters to train them all! So some English Sisters are training the Hermanas! Whoa!

I said goodbye to all of my Virginia buddies.... =( It was pretty sad. It was also really hard leaving my first area. But I know that Mount Olive is where the Lord wants me to be, so I will go and do!

We had a long car ride down to Greenville, and then another long trip to Smithfield and then finally to Mount Olive. We had just enough time to toss my bags in the front door before we had to run to ward council meeting.

At Greenville, I met my new companion, Sister Kunzler! She is SO awesome. She is so excited for us to get to work in Mount Olive - so how could I not be excited about my new area? =D Yay!

The first night here was pretty hard. I felt like I was leaving home all over again. Sister Kunzler gave me a big hug, so that helped. Everything looked a lot better in the morning, though, as it always does!

We did some weekly planning and then went out to teach! We went to see a potential named Nancy at her work. We drove up on the dirt (which people do here) in front of a really square, really small building. "There isn't anyone in there," I thought. "It's a storage space!" But we knocked anyway. There turned out to be 4 kids and Nancy in there! We talked to her and got to know her, and were going to just set up a return appointment when the Spirit said "Why don't you just teach her now?"
So we did, we shared something simple with her that we had talked about the morning. She told us her concerns, and what she's going through, and we were able to answer her questions. I am so glad we followed Heavenly Father's will and taught her "now". She told us she feels peace and calm after missionaries teach her and when she goes to church. "There's your answer," we said.

On Friday, we had district meeting. It was really fun. We drove about...I don't know, 10 miles away? to Albertson (said All-burr-son). There are two sets of Spanish elders in our district and then us. We are also a really young district. They are exploding with work with the Spanish-speaking population. We don't have any investigators.
We have lots of potentials, though! Lots to do! Work to accomplish here! Yay!
It takes a lot of driving to get anywhere here - we cover towns that are 20 miles away. Whoa!

Saturday was crazy! We went out to a town called Seven Springs that's a little ways away. We drove on dirt roads and knocked on a few trailer doors. We braved a few dogs and threw cheeze-it's out of the window to get them away from the car so we could drive away. We also left hearts of the Relief Society President and Bishop's doors. =)

We tried to find this lady's house on Saturday and it was crazy fun. We knocked on our first guess' door and she was like "yeah my name is Miguel," but spoke very little English. She wasn't our Miguel, though. So we went to the next trailer, one she had pointed out. There were two dogs outside and they looked a little intimidating. We waited for them to leave, but they didn't. "This is ridiculous," Sister Kunzler said. "The longer we wait, the more interested they will get." So she jumps out. I was like "please don't let us get mauled, Heavenly Father!" and before I could let myself think I hopped out too. The dogs were actually super nice. We left a note at the person's door.
We tried one more place before we left. There we met Noelli (sp?). She was like "yeah, come back and talk to me about the gospel". Yay!!!

Sunday was pretty good too. I got to meet a lot of the people in the ward, spontaneously was assigned to teach Gospel Principles, met the ward mission leader, Brother Paez (who only speaks Spanish), and in general had a crazy day.

Today it is POURING, so I'm praying a little of that rain will come over ya'll's way.
I love you all!

January 5, 2014- I'm Getting Transferred!

It happened! I got a call from Elder Ferguson and he told me that the Lord has called me to Mount Olive, North Carolina! What is so cool about that is that all three of my field-companions have served there! Sister Dodds, Sister Nielsen, and Sister Petrie. They had a lot to tell me about the area. =) I guess I should have listened closer! I am so excited to go work there!

It's really bittersweet, though, leaving behind the people here. I've done a lot of work with the members here, and with investigators. I had a feeling that I was getting transferred. I've been praying so hard to feel peace about it. And I think I do. I feel ready to go to Mount Olive. Someday I will come back here, to Virginia Beach, and talk with all the people I was blessed to know here. =)

This week was so long, for some reason! Tuesday feels like it was forever and a day ago. Oh, by the way, Happy 2015! I hope we have flying cars now! Or at least hoverboards.

We helped Barbara organize her linen closet on Tuesday. I love to do stuff like that. It was fun to get to talk to her and uplift her. She's having a difficult time with all her health problems. =(

Wednesday, New Year's Eve, was pretty fun. We got to meet a less-active we've been trying to see for ages. He grew up in Idaho and used to be super active, but for some reason just doesn't go anymore. His home teacher, who he was really close to, moved a long time ago, and he didn't even know. =( We asked if his wife would ever be interested in taking the discussions. He was surprised by the question, and thought about it. "I don't know," he finally said, thoughtfully.

So there was a miracle of the week!

We made cookies that night and took them to Brother Sutton. He really appreciated that. We also took some to our upstairs neighbors. She's a cheerleader and always waves to us when we see her.

The first day of 2015 we got to see Sister S and uplift her. I thought about how people, even and especially members, need the Spirit and the message we bring because it's a boost to keep them going in the middle of the week. Church is like that, but better. We ALL need to be uplifted, even in just 3 hours, to make it through the week. It's miraculous to see the difference the added Spirit makes. =) People's demenors change. When we read scripture, the conversation becomes more inspired. It's amazing to see people's Spirits instructed by the Holy Ghost. It's a miracle in every day. =)

On Friday, the 2nd day of 2015, we were able to help and serve Sister Wells. She was going in to have surgery on her foot and needed someone to sit and wait with her. We were so happy to go and help and be there for her. =) We sat in the waiting room for two hours and studied our scriptures. We prayed for her and gave her a hug before she went in.

We also had exchanges, and that was super fun. Sister Quiroz came here and we had some exciting experiences. We went to see the BB family and uplift them. That was a powerful experience. Little Julia's testimony and prayers are just so powerful. I love them so much!

On Saturday, we got transfer calls. I'm going to Mount Olive, North Carolina! I am so excited to serve there. It's going to be a bit more rural than I am used to, but it will be an awesome experience! This time next week, I'll be there! I'm excited to work hard and help out! =)

I know that Heavenly Father answers prayers. I know that Jesus Christ guides His church. I am so excited to invite anyone and everyone who will listen to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and be blessed with joy. I invite anyone and everyone to hear it, to try it, and see if it doesn't give them happiness. Because it does. =) And I want everyone to have that.

I love you all!
